Course Description
A holistic approach to wound management, using best practice techniques, will support the wound healing process and minimise complications. This course demonstrates how to clean and dress a wound, manage complications and document the wound management process.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
* Describe common types of wounds that may be seen in the older
person
* Develop effective wound management plans
* Identify appropriate wound dressing products to facilitate wound
healing using best practice wound care techniques
